- By train: The closest train station to Val d’Isère is Bourg Saint Maurice, located 30 km from the resort. Bourg Saint Maurice station is served by many high-speed trains: TGV – Thalys – Eurostar. The Ormelune Hotel and the Val d’Isère resort can be reached from Bourg Saint Maurice station by bus transfer or taxi.
- By plane: Lyon Saint Exupéry and Geneva Cointrin airports. Buses and taxis provide connections from the airports.
- By road: From Lyon: Take the A43 motorway to Albertville, then a dual carriageway to Moutiers, D902 towards Bourg Saint Maurice. Then follow signs to Val d’Isère.
From Italy, take the E70 at the Turin exit, towards Parc de la Vanoise.
Note: Col de l’Iseran and Petit Saint Bernard passes are closed during the winter.
